Stayed at the First Hotel during a short stay in Paris, great location (20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower/ Seine), right beside the Metro station, and very comfortable accommodations. Give them a try!

The hotel is well placed directly across from a Metro station, which provides one with city access easily. The Ecole Militaire is a block away, as are some wonderful shops and cafes, all within walking distance. We quite enjoyed walking through some of the surrounding neighborhoods on our way to the Eiffel Tower. We stopped at a fabulous cafe, The Primrose, on our way back for wine and salads. Juilian, at the frnt deask, was always attentive and helpful. He provided suggestions of what to see, where to eat, and how to travel in Paris. He is a treasure!

Our stay (second time) was outstanding, except for the breakfast. I am sure it was also outstanding by European standards but not by US standards. Stephane and Benedict were outstanding. They could not have been better. We had a very nice room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The best room we have had in Europe. Excellent access to all transportation. This is not a budget hotel. Highly recommend.

We loved the hotel and the Paris experience, the hotel is situated perfectly, the view of the Eiffel tower was amazing, the staff were all amazing and always ready to help and answer questions, they are a credit to your hotel.

I particularly did not like the color BLACK in the halls of the hotel leading to your room. Black carpet, walks & doors. It make the halls very dark an in my opinion very depressing looking. Hotels should be very cheerful & welcoming to your area of rest.
